1960’s Spice Bottles

The Google Search

Have you ever Googled yourself or your company? Try it sometime and you will be surprised at what you find! A quick google search of “Horton Spice bottles” led to the discovery of an interesting photo with meaningful Horton Spice Mills history posted on Etsy.com.

The Evolution

Check out the photo of our original Belgium bottles seen above. These were some of the first spice bottles sold in the mid-1960s by Horton Spice Mills at our company’s first location in Toronto (Don Mills), Ontario! A simple yet elegant design that evolved over the years to the brand we know and love today.

The Result

Thanks to Kristin, owner of MurphyRDInteriors who was in possession of these bottles, the result of our Google search was eventually getting our hands on some meaningful company nostalgia. It was a pleasure connecting with MurphyRDInteriors who happened to have something so valuable of ours at one time and happy to say, ours again!
